Statement FAQs

Disregard any references to “balance due” and the statement message. Swipe charges are automatically marked as paid the following business day as “Pre-Authorized Payment.” This indicates it will be deducted from your bi-weekly pay.

Pre-Authorized Payment is a back-end function noting that the charges you made will be deducted from your bi-weekly pay. Pre-authorized payments may not exactly match each individual purchase, especially if you have made multiple purchases in a day. However, if you were to add up your total individual charges, the Pre-Authorized payments will total the same amount.

Click here to view a sample deduction calendar for clarification of when the swipe charges will be deducted from your pay – as they do not correspond with the normal payroll work weeks.

A chit is an itemized receipt. When viewing your statements, you can click on the underlined number in the chit column to view each individual chit.
